PLEDGEKEEPERS FUNDRAISING

FUNDRAISING TARGETS

Pledgekeepers mission is to create a consciousness of the national pledge in the hearts and minds of the Jamaican people in a manner to make them consciously committed to fulfilling their obligation under the pledge.

Our approach to this mission includes networking, publicity, and material development and distribution.

FUNDS ARE BEING RAISED FOR:

1) SALARIES AND STIPEND
While the engine of Pledgekeepers is fueled by volunteerism and our central team members are volunteers, our model assumes that sustainable success will require full time staff for key positions who will give undivided attention to their assignments as there are limitations to volunteerism.

The positions currently identified are:
a). The sales and marketing ambassadors and relevant team responsible for promotion and networking.
b). Parish coordinators responsible to coordinate with clubs and schools in every parish to set-up manage and train and provide support.
c). Accountability officers

2) STIPENDS
Our model assumes stipend for the club coordinators to secure the level of dedication needed to maximize success.

3) CLUB FUNDING
This is considered to be the major funding area. Funding to facilitate partializing the pledge in acts of significant service, brotherhood, generosity justice, peace etc. School and community initiatives (education support, support for business startups and creativity, collaboration coordination for local business buoyancy) This area of need is exhaustible and will utilize whatever fund we can afford as allocated by the finance committee for club activities.

8) Club awards
9) General expenses – Office, storage, stationery, regulatory, utilities etc

FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOU

Our central fundraising strategy presumes partnership and awaking the Out of Many One spirit in every Jamaican. We therefore engage all our citizens, stewards of the Jamaican pledge, to not just invest in our vision but to own it.

Our first fundraising opportunity engages our people and invites every person to give a minimum of ONE THOUSAND JAMAICAN DOLLARS (J$1,000) as a one-off gift or a monthly commitment towards our budget. It is a statement to say I AM INVESTED not just excited, I AM ENGAGED, not just endorsing.

Our second fundraising opportunity is our partnership opportunities available to everyone. Consider become a partner with our vision by an annual partnership of a minimum of Twenty-Four Thousand Dollars ($24,000) paid annually or monthly at Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000) per month. As a gift to our partners, you get access to our ever-growing list of songs on the pledge tenets; downloadable access to our quarterly devotionals and downloadable access to our Pledgekeepers book.

Our third fundraising opportunity is subscription to our quarterly family devotionals. Do this through your local school or community club and have the net proceeds dedicated to that club and its budget. Consider purchasing multiple copies for every family member and for others.

Our fourth fundraising opportunity is our club opportunities. We encourage everyone to consider contributing to and/or soliciting support for clubs in your Alma Mater or to the school club or other Pledgekeeper clubs in your community and businesses within local communities to contribute to clubs in your community.

ALL FUNDS RAISED BY CLUBS OR DESIGNATED TO CLUBS REMAINS WITH THESE CLUBS TO FINANCE THEIR ACTIVITIES
Our fifth fundraising opportunity is intervention through local clubs. If you have a heart to intervene in any area of service and brotherhood in any community, consider doing it through local fundraising clubs. Every donation given to these clubs or expression of service through these clubs have the multiple effects of:

IMPACTING THE TARGET OF THE DONATION THROUGH THE SERVICE ACTIVITY
HELPING CLUB MEMBERS TO PRACTICALIZE THEIR PLEDGE
TARGETING A CULTURAL SHIFT IN JAMAICA TOWARDS THE POWERFUL POTENTIAL ENGRAINED IN OUR NATIONAL PLEDGE.

SPONSORSHIP
We are inviting one individual or institution to underwrite our administrative budget for the year. We are seeking one sponsor every year for the next five (5) years who will make this bold investment in this nation though this vision. You will be listed on our website as our main sponsor for the year and your adverts given prominence if desired.
